Download Free Daily Planner for Excel

Daily Planner for Excel

The free Daily Planner for Excel is a spreadsheet template by Vertex42.com designed to help you print daily planner pages on 8 1/2 x 11 paper. You can use just about any inexpensive 3-ring binder. If you prefer paper
planners over electronic versions, this may be the perfect solution to help you organize your week in a simple and efficient manner. If you are familiar with Microsoft Excel’s print settings and page setup options, you’ll find that you can scale the daily planner to be printed on other size paper as well. The daily planner includes most of the common sections that you will find in other planners, such as sections for recording notes, daily expenses, holidays and special events, prioritized tasks, people to call, and of course appointments. You can change labels, change the hours listed, and make other formatting changes. Miniature monthly calendars show the prior, current, and next month at the top of the page, with the current week highlighted. One of the advanced features is the ability to list annual events like birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. Up to 3 events per day will be listed automatically in the planner (see the Help in the Events worksheet). Note that if you enter tasks or appointments directly into the planner, they won’t change when you change the week. If you want to save an electronic copy instead of printing, just save a backup copy of the spreadsheet. The ZIP download contains two files. The basic version (printable-daily-planner.xls) does not contain any macros, and you print one day at a time. If you want to automatically print a range of days, use the version with the macro (printable-daily-planner_macro.xls). See the Excel help about how to enable macros.
